• Blue carbon capture technology: to figure out the formation and regulation mechanism of blue carbon in the typical coastal environment in the Taiwan Strait, to assess the current situation of bule carbon in coastal area, to develop the technology increasing carbon sink, to improve marine carbon sink integrating land and ocean, and to establish blue carbon standards and technical systems

• Ecological restoration technology: to establish and develop ecological restoration technical systems for coastal mangroves, salt marshes, bays and other habitats in the Taiwan Strait
