The first meeting of the second International Advisory Committee (IAC) of T-SMART was held in March 25-27, 2024, the 10th Symposium on Marine Environment Monitoring and Forecasting Technologies was held in Xiamen University. Director Bangqin Huang presided over the opening and appointment ceremonies. Professor Minhan Dai delivered a welcome speech to the IAC members attending the meeting.

After listening to research progress reports from T-SMART scientists on March 25, the IAC members visited T-SMART on March 26. On March 27, they engaged in discussions and presented a report summarizing the progress of T-SMART’s development and identifying urgent issues that need to be addressed.
