The mesocosm platform is an important platform for conducting marine global change ecology research, covering an area of about 500 square meters. It is mainly composed of the observation room, culture system, temperature control system, and CO2 control system. The system consists of 12 sets of cylindrical acrylic cylinders, each of which has a diameter of 2 m and a height of 1.2 m with accommodation of 4 tons of water; and each culture system is equipped with temperature control equipment and carbon dioxide enrichment equipment to simulate the marine environment by controlling the water temperature and CO2 concentration, and study the response mechanism of the marine ecosystem to temperature rise and acidification.
